Head Coach Richard Moodie
On the returners: "
Nour Imane Addi will return this year and is someone who found the back of the net early on, maybe dipped out towards the middle of the season but looked amazing in the spring. Dani Fuentes is back as a COVIDÂ senior and is someone who can attack creatively.
Laurence Saviana returns from ACL, which is a huge addition for us. And then of course All-American
Gracie Wilson."
Â
On the position group as a whole: "We added even more players to what we already had since we only graduated one senior. I think it's a very versatile group in terms of what each individual can bring. It's a combination of athletes and footballers and I think we are very spoiled for choice in the midfield."
Â
On the newcomers: "We've got the likes of Rebecca Calderoni, a D1 transfer from Memphis and
Kawtar Mahy, Moroccan International, who is coming from a good pedigree of soccer."
Gracie Wilson
On the upcoming season: "I am really excited for the season. I think we are coming back stronger and I'm excited to see what the team is gonna be able to do."
Â
On her personal goals: "A goal for me is just to improve from last year. I think getting All-American not academic would be pretty sweet."
Â
On the newcomers: "I am very excited about the newcomers in the midfield. I think they're gonna be awesome additions to the team. I think it's gonna give us versatility in the midfield, to be able to rotate and sub out and save our legs for the season."
Â
Danielle Fuentes
On the upcoming season: "Obviously super excited for the season. We set the bar really high last year so now we just have to keep working and match it."
Â
On her personal goals: "I just want to play to the best of my ability."
Â
On the newcomers: "I'm really happy with the people who have come. They are from different countries and different areas and add their own little spice to the style that we play."
