- South Alabama enters the tournament coming off of a win at last week's Bama Beach Bash in Gulf Shores, Ala., marking the second tournament the Jags have won this season.
- Shaari and Hovland earned top-five finishes at the Bama Beach Bash, while Cassidy Lambert earned her second top-10 finish of the spring by finishing tied for eighth.
- Hovland carded 10 birdies at the Bama Beach Bash, which ranked third among the field.
- Hovland and Shaari each played par fives at a 3-under par average of 4.80 strokes at the Bama Beach Bash.
