THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
- On today's performance:
"It was a great performance. Once again, we knew Samford was really good in doubles, we played them two weeks ago and knew that was a key. We took the doubles away from them. In singles, we carried that momentum. Our captains, Louis [Delcour] and Seb [Collard] did an amazing job. And to have guys like Jack [Clements] get a quick point to put us up 2-0 gives us a lot of confidence. Then we go up 3-0 and Seb had a very big match at one, Samford has a really good player and he was able to get the break at the end and close the match out with his serve. The guys took care of business. It was a good match. We haven't played in awhile and it was nice to be back at home."
