MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women's tennis team defeated Nicholls 6-1 on Friday at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts. 

The Jags swept the Colonels in doubles for the early advantage. The team went on to win five singles courts for its third straight victory.

- On today's performance: "We had some tough conditions with the wind and cold weather but it was nice to get a win. This is probably one of the best teams Nicholls has had in a while and they competed really hard. There are a lot of things that we need to do better but a win is win so we will move on to Sunday."
