MOBILE, Ala. | The South Alabama men's basketball team (3-4) will continue their stretch of seven straight games away from the Mitchell Center on Wednesday when they take on Florida Atlantic (5-1) at the Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena in Boca Raton, Fla.
 
The Jaguars participated in the Hostilo Hoops Community Classic in Savannah, Ga. over the holiday weekend. The Jags won 2-of-3 matchups, and Isaiah Moore was named to the all-tournament team.
 
The Owls' lone loss of the season so far came at the hands of Ole Miss in their second game of the season.

South beat Robert Morris, 84-70, in their final game of the Hostilo Hoops Community Classic. FAU earned their fifth win of the season by beating Albany on the road, 73-56.

South Alabama leads the overall series between the two teams, 12-4. The Jaguars' lone win came on January 22, 1972 when they beat the Sooners 75-72.

• Owen White started his 100th career game against Alabama. He joined Kevin Samuel as the only two players on the roster to have 100+ career starts.
• White is one of 17 Division I college basketball players who are married.
• South was picked to finish third in the Sun Belt preseason poll. The Jags finished fifth in the conference last year with a 9-7 record. 
• The Jaguars placed two players on the Preseason All-Sun Belt teams. Kevin Samuel was named to the first-team, and Greg Parham II was voted to the second-team.
