MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama hits the course for the second consecutive week when they tee off Sunday morning at the Tempest Golf Club (Gladewater, Texas) for the Tempest Collegiate hosted by Texas State.

The tournament will run from Sunday through Tuesday and features 11 teams including the Jags and host Texas State. Other teams in the tournament include Central Michigan, Houston Christian (formerly Houston Baptist), Incarnate Word, Louisiana, Nicholls, Rice, Stephen F. Austin, UT-Arlington, and UTRGV.

Play begins each day at 7:40 am and will be play at 7,229 yards (Par 72).

The Jags hits the course after a week in which they finished 14th overall at the Inverness Intercollegiate against some of the nation's best. Jack Hearn led the Jags with a top-20 finish after a final round 71 to finish at 6-over (219). Jordan Plunkett also finished in the top-50 with an 11-over (224) in the tournament.
