Senior midfielder Nour Imane Addi got the scoring started in the second half, when she ripped one past the Chanticleers' keeper to make it a 1-0 game.

Junior Sydney Ham, who was playing defender for the game, made it a 2-0 game in the 56th minute when Morgan Cross dropped her the ball and she curved it in to the top right corner of the goal.

The Jag back line kept the Chanticleers in check, holding them to just two shots, both in the second half.

QUOTABLE
Head Coach Richard Moodie
On the match:
"Coastal is a much better team than their record suggests. They are organized and they frustrated us the whole first half. There were opportunities for us in the first half. We took the opportunity at half time to look at the game and see where the space was going to be and we came out really hard in the second half. A couple of adjustments from the girls were big, they were excellent, they stuck to the plan."

On if the team is playing their best soccer:
"I think it's a mixture of playing our best soccer and then finding a way to win. With games like this, we scored off a set piece and then Sydney scored on what might have been a cross but you need to have that luck. We were working hard all day, we knew what we were trying to do. We're getting into tournament mode where you've got to win to advance and so for us, it's important we found a way to win this game, which we weren't able to do in some others. It was important we found a way to win, and the girls are resilient and they are so driven, couldn't be prouder of them."

Junior forward Sydney Ham
On the win:
"This win is really big because it puts us at the top of the league so if we win next week, we could win the conference. It's good to go in as a number one seed, and we just needed this win as a team."

On her goal:
"It was a shot, not a cross. It was just cool being a defender and getting all the way up the field and curving it in. It was a good feeling."
