- South dished out a season-best 18 assists at Louisiana and the 57 points in the second half were a season-high for any half.
 
- South Alabama features two of the top six scorers in the Sun Belt. Charles Manning Jr. is second with 17.8 points per game and Jay Jay Chandler is sixth, averaging 15.3 per game.
 
-Chandler has scored 20 or more points in six games and has scored at least 10 points in 17 consecutive contests. Chandler finished with 21 points on 9-for-12 shooting at ULM. USA is 5-1 this season when Chandler has at least 20 points. He needs just 15 points to eclipse the 1,000-point mark for his NCAA career.
 
- Manning Jr. posted a career-best 26 points against UTA and has scored 20 points or more in nine games this season. He has led the Jags in scoring in 11 contests this year. The Jags are 7-2 when Manning Jr. scores 20 or more.
 
- Javon Franklin is averaging 16.0 points per game and 9.4 rebounds in Sun Belt action.
 
- Tyrell Jones saw his first action at Louisiana since an injury at Wichita State earlier in the season. Jones posted nine points, five rebounds and a career-high five assists in 27 minutes. In his two games back from injury, Jones is averaging 8.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
 
- Kayo Goncalves is ranked fourth in the Sun Belt with 41 made three-pointers.
