- Freshman Kate Nicolson and sophomore Sydney Ham currently lead the Jaguars in scoring with three goals apiece heading into this weekend's matches.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Allison Luckhardt has moved into multiple program record lists; she is now 10th in games played (18), minutes played (1,530), tied for ninth in games started (17) and 10th in shutouts (5).

- On Mississippi Valley State: "It's another week to play and we're excited to get the opportunity. This continues the five-road match stretch on our schedule and that is never easy. Mississippi Valley State is going to be a different challenge and it is another opportunity to take the field."

- On Alcorn State: "It's another opportunity to get out on the road and challenge ourselves. That will put us at three consecutive road matches and that's not easy, regardless of who and where you're playing. This weekend poses different challenges from last weekend and next weekend when we go into conference play. There's an opportunity for us to take the field and fix the issues that we had against UNA."

- On looking forward to conference play: "This is our last week to adjust things on the training field and figure things out before conference play. I think everyone wants to be at their best this week so we can take it into the following weekend. Even though we're keeping the start of conference play in mind, we aren't overlooking the two games we have this weekend."
