BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – A scrappy 10-point tie break win by Caraline Sheufler rounded out the University of South Alabama women's tennis team's six singles wins over Samford at the Bulldog Invitational at the Pat M. Courting Tennis Pavilion on Saturday. The Jaguars also claimed two doubles victories over Central Arkansas.

- On today's performance: "We had a good day results wise. The ball tolerance, decision making and point playing patterns are slowly progressing. Today was a good measuring stick in singles taking care of a fired-up Samford team in somewhat comfortable fashion. These were the kind of matches that gave us problems last year, therefore it as good to get the positive results today. We're looking forward to another opportunity tomorrow to improve as a team."
