THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Richard Moodie
-
On the result: "This was a good one for our team; Deanna Green scored her first collegiate goal and Kory Dixon scored her first one after being removed because of injury. We were excited to play and happy to take the little things away from the match."
-
On Deanna Green's goal: "I think my favorite part about it was we had just brought Morgan Cross back in and she was one-on-one with the goalkeeper and she passed it to Deanna so she could score. I think that speaks a thousand words to the character on our team."
-
On Kory Dixon's goal: "When that shot went in the whole team went to the corner to celebrate with her. It was quite an emotional moment but I think she needed it for a confidence boost."
-
On the start of conference play coming up: "I'm proud of our girls, they have worked hard every day in practice. It was good to score a lot of goals today and we're ready to keep things up for the next match."
