THEY SAID IT
Head coach Richard Moodie
-
On Alabama A&M: "They're always a good challenge for us. It's a big week for us; we prepare for it like any other game."
-
On Nicholls State: "It's a brand-new team and coach so we don't know what to expect. At this point in the season you can't focus too much on the other team, because we're still learning more about ourselves as a team."
-
On applying what was learned during the exhibitions: "I think moving forward we can take matches like those and learn from them. We've got areas to work on but we know what they are and we know what to do."Â
-
On Sydney Ham being named "Woman of the Match" against MSU: "I think we were looking at a new face who stepped up for us. Sydney didn't start against Lipscomb but came in and did really well. She started against Mississippi State and did really well again. Keeping in mind that she's a transfer and working with a new staff, system and teammates — I think she did exceptionally well."
