QUOTES
Head Coach Mark Calvi

- On the pitchers:
"They were really good. (Matt) Boswell was OK; he really pitched and had to gut. (Jackson) Boyd came in behind him and was really good in game one. And (JoJo) Booker getting out of that bases-loaded jam – he was outstanding. He kept making pitches, moved his fastball around and was good with his breaking ball. I thought JoJo was really good. (Tyler) Perez coming in behind him in a jam, and then Jase (Dalton) and (Tyler) Samaniego. We've been outstanding on the mound and this weekend was no different. We have leaned on those guys, and they have answered the bell every single time."

- On the offense:
"We had a bunch of guys swinging the bats much better. We took some walks and laid off some tough pitches. (Andrew) Bates won the game for us today. He has been relentless at practice, he is a great teammate and he continues to work while he is waiting. He won the game for us today."

RHP Jackson Boyd
- On his performance:
"Coming into those games, you just focus on pitch after pitch and try to continue what (Matt) Boswell did. He did a really good job, and I just tried to continue through the innings and go one (batter) at a time. I was able to locate all three pitches where I wanted to today; it was a good day."
