QUOTESÂ Â Â
Head Coach Mark CalviÂ
- On Tyler Lehrmann:
"(Tyler) Lehrmann was really good. Last week (at Southern Miss) he threw a lot of fastballs. The sign of a good guy is they can beat you a couple of different ways. It's not like he has to sit there and just throw changeups. He threw a lot of fastballs to Southern Miss last week, and it was really a good mix of fastball, changeup and curveball tonight. I thought he found his curveball in the third or fourth inning and flipped a few in there. He did an outstanding job and had a bunch of strikeouts, but I would like to see him finish some guys off inside a little bit more. He missed his spot in a little bit, but he did enough. He is just a gamer. I feel great whenever Lehrmann is on the mound."

- On his performance:
"I threw a lot of fastballs last week, but I really feel like I had all three pitches working tonight for the first time all year. I located early but got behind a lot. Being able to throw offspeed late in the count and pitch backwards really helped me out. I settled in around the second inning. I felt the changeup and fastball release points, and the curveball came in the third or fourth inning. Once I have all three of those working is when I feel I have my best."
