QUOTESÂ Â Â
Head Coach Mark CalviÂ
- On the loss:Â
"The game and momentum revolves around the pitcher. We didn't get what we needed tonight on the mound or in the batter's box. We played pretty good defense, but let a popup drop in that we needed to catch. But the game starts and stops on the mound, and we weren't good enough tonight on the mound. We got outplayed tonight."
- On moving forward to this weekend's Sun Belt home opener:
"The only thing you can do is let this one go. I told the guys that if we had won, this thing is over at midnight and the message is the same. You win or lose, the day is over at 12:01 (a.m.). I am on to Troy right now, so we have to have a great day of practice tomorrow and get ready for a good weekend."
