MOBILE, Ala. – Due to forecasted inclement weather in the Mobile area on Wednesday, the University of South Alabama softball team's midweek contest versus LSU at Jaguar Field has been canceled.

The two teams are looking at possible alternate dates, but there isn't one at this time.

The Jaguars will now head back out on the road for their second road Sun Belt Conference series as the Jaguars travel to Lafayette, La., to take on 16th-ranked Louisiana. South and the Ragin' Cajuns will open up the three-game series on Friday at 6 p.m. at Lamson Park.
