THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
- On today's performance: "We are happy that we were able to get the match in after all of the crazy weather these past two weeks. I am proud of how we behaved on the court with the low temperatures today; the players did not complain about the weather, they were able to put that aside and focused on the match."
- On doubles: "Our goal was to start the match strong, which we did in doubles. We tried new pairs, and we made sure to play every point like it mattered the most. The team was serious, and they played well in doubles. They were aggressive and closed out each match well."
- On singles: "We had some trouble here and there because we were playing in tough conditions, and that may affect your performance mentally. Some of the players were affected a little more, but overall, it was a great match. Today was great practice heading into this weekend. The players are getting more match play, and the more we play, the better we play as a team. Overall, I am very pleased with today's results."
