Opening Tip
- The Jags are seeking their first road win of the season.
- South Alabama is 31-17 against current members of the American Athletic Conference. 
- Tulane is one of two AAC opponents for the Jags this year as South is scheduled to face Tulsa in December during the GSU Holiday Classic on Dec. 19. 

Tulane Series Notes
- The last 10 meetings of the series is tied at five wins each. 
- Under the direction of head coach Terry Fowler, South is 1-1 against Tulane. 
- This is the third consecutive season the teams have faced each other during non-conference play. 
- The last time the Jags beat the Green Wave in New Orleans was a 62-53 victory on Dec. 7, 2019.

Notes from Last Year's Tulane Game
- It was the Green Wave's first visit to the Mitchell Center since Dec. 1, 2009.
- South maintained a 13-9 advantage over Tulane in the all-time series.
- It was the first time Devyn Lowe scored in double figures since recording 12 points at Southern Mississippi on Dec. 15, 2019, and the fifth occasion that she had posted 10-plus points in her career.
- Antoinette Lewis finished with a double-double against the Green Wave for the second time in as many seasons, her fourth in a row dating back to the start of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament the previous March.
-Mahogany Vaught returned after missing South's season-opening win over Mobile to record a then career highs in both scoring and steals (four).

Additional Notes from the Auburn-Montgomery
- The Jaguars used their third different starting lineup in as many outings this year.
- Nadia Howard was 6-of-10 from the field and 2-for-3 from beyond the arc to record a double-digit scoring figure for the first time in her collegiate career.
- After handing out one assist in her first two games this year she led the team with four in this contest.
- Jordan Rosier did not score in her first two appearances at South before recording a double-figure total against the Warhawks.
- Kiana Anderson led South for the first time as a Jag with five rebounds in her 20 minutes on the floor.
