- The two programs have not played against each other since 2018. 
-The Jags' largest margin of victory over the Badgers is 63 points first recorded in a 95-32 win on Dec. 1, 1975, with South matching that figure after defeating SHC 98-35 on Nov. 9, 2007.
- South Alabama has won each of the last 19 meetings with Spring Hill, with all but three of those contests coming at home as part of a stretch dating back to 1982.

Notes from the 2020-21 Finale
-The 2020-21 campaign was the fourth consecutive season South Alabama finished with a record of .500 or better. 
- Vaught led the Jags in scoring, posting double-digit figures in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament quarterfinal. 
- She also had seven rebounds for the game, one shy of matching her career-best total. 
- Janelle Jones scored 11 points off the bench, marking the first-time the then-freshman scored in double digits in consecutive games last winter.
