2021 Schedule

MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women's golf team will compete in four tournaments before heading to the Sun Belt Conference Championship, announced Friday by head coach Matt Luther.

South Alabama will open the spring season at the first of two consecutive tournaments in Jacksonville, Florida, beginning with the First Coast Classic (Feb. 15-16), hosted by Western Kentucky. The Jags will then head to the UNF Collegiate (March 8-9), which will be hosted by North Florida. Both tournaments will consist of 54 holes over a two-day span.

USA will host the Bama Beach Bash (March 19-21) in Gulf Shores, Alabama, which will feature 54 holes over three days before heading to Atlanta for the two-day, 54-hole Georgia State Invitational (March 29-30).

The Sun Belt Conference Championship is scheduled for Aril 18-20 at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida. NCAA Regionals will be held May 10-12, and the NCAA Championship is set to be played in Phoenix, Arizona, May 21-26. 

"It was not as challenging in trying to put together a schedule for the spring as it was this past fall," Luther said. "There are going to be more teams playing in the spring, so we had more options. The Sun Belt Championship is in Daytona Beach, so we are playing twice in Jacksonville and once in Gulf Shores, which will all give us a look like what we'll get at Daytona Beach – similar surface on Bermuda, kind of hot and dry."
