MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama Director of Strength and Conditioning for Athletics Nick Kuhlman announced the addition of Logan Barrett to the Jaguar strength and conditioning staff on Thursday.

Barrett will work with the Jaguar baseball and softball programs. He joins the South Alabama staff as an assistant strength and conditioning coach after spending the last year-and-a-half as assistant strength and conditioning coach at UT-Dallas, where he worked with the UTD baseball, softball, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's tennis programs. 

Prior to his time at UTD, Barrett spent two years as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at UT Arlington, where he worked with the Maverick baseball, track and field and men's and women's golf programs. He also spent time as a strength and conditioning intern at North Dakota State, Kentucky and Wake Forest. 

Barrett earned his Bachelor of Science in exercise science from Southern Indiana, and received a Master's of Science in exercise physiology from UT Arlington.
