MOBILE, Ala. – Seven home matches and two trips to SEC schools highlight the 2019 University of South Alabama soccer schedule released Tuesday.

The Jaguars will also go to Troy for a two-day tournament in August before hosting a four-team, two-day event in Mobile a week later.

Prior to the official start of the campaign, South Alabama will have two exhibitions, first against Lipscomb on Aug. 11 at the Foley Sports Complex in Foley, Ala., then Alabama in Tuscaloosa on Aug. 17.

USA's season formally begins in Troy for contests against Tennessee Tech (Aug. 23) and Jackson State (Aug. 25).

The Jaguars open their home schedule on Aug. 30 vs. UAB, a game that is preceded by Troy vs. Stetson. Two days later, Troy will take on UAB before South Alabama faces Stetson.

A six-game road trip, which includes the first two Sun Belt Conference matches, commences Sept. 5 at Southern Miss, followed by a match at Southeastern Louisiana on Sept. 8.

South Alabama will make a swing through the Magnolia State the next weekend for matches at Mississippi State (Sept. 12) and Ole Miss (Sept. 15), then starts league play Sept. 19 at Texas State and Sept. 22 at Louisiana.

The Jags return home Sept. 27 for the first of two at The Cage, starting with ULM then Georgia State (Sept. 29), before heading back out on the road to Troy on Oct. 4. USA wraps up that weekend with a home match against Arkansas State (Oct. 6).

Road trips to Georgia Southern (Oct. 11) and Coastal Carolina (Oct. 13) wrap up the road schedule before the season-concluding homestand vs. Little Rock (Oct. 20) and Appalachian State (Oct. 25).

The Sun Belt Tournament will be held once again at the Foley Sports Complex Nov. 6-10.
