Head Coach Mark Calvi
- On the pitching performance:
"The stat of the night is no walks – not an abundance of strikeouts, but we knew going in (to the series) that Little Rock is one of the toughest teams (in conference) to strike out. They do a great job with two strikes, and they have some good hitters. But no walks tonight – you can't say enough about that. That was the story of the game to me. Their guy (Hayden Arnold) was really good too; he had a good curveball and a tough angle. But we got enough hits and pushed some runs across the board."
- On Drake Nightengale:
"He's calmed himself down and found who he is. Everyone competes in a certain gear; some guys go too hard and others need to be amped up a little bit more. I think Drake was both of those, and I think he has found where he needs to be comfortably to compete and be the best version of himself. I think he has found just the right amount of testosterone when he has been out there. He has been really good for us his last four times on the mound."
- On the importance of playing well down the stretch:
"Everyone talks about getting off to a good start, and finishing hot and being good late. So far, so good for us in terms of the timing of it. Our guys have been playing well, and some guys who didn't have an abundance of confidence are gaining a little more; it couldn't happen at a better time."
