-It marked the second time in three outings this fall that the Jags have recorded a top-five finish as a team.
-In addition leading the tournament field in eagles (four) and scoring on par-three holes (+3), South was also among the top three teams with a 7-under-par figure on the course's par fives.
-The top-20 finish was Lorentzen's first as a Jaguar, and he also posted his first round at or below par on the final day of play.
-Schütz' final-round 70 was the best 18-hole score for the Jaguars at the event, helping the senior record his second top-20 result of the fall.

THEY SAID IT
Head coach Ben Hannan
On how the team improved its score on the final day of play: "After the second day was rained out, we had a little down time. Â I think being able to sit back, evaluate a little bit and refocus on the third round got everybody in a good state of mind and ready to go from the start."
On the team's second-round performance: "We played day two very similar to Texas [where USA won the tournament to open the season], everybody was in the game but more importantly each guy was in the process. Â On a hard golf course, we had multiple guys under par all round; unfortunately we had some issues on our last holes to take away from what was really a fantastic day of golf."
On the significance of moving up in the team standings in the next-to-last event of the fall: "The key thing to take from this event — and from the previous trip to Nebraska — is the value of a shot, the first shot is just as important as the last shot.  It is important to be very process-oriented to maximize what each individual does, if we can stay in that mode and stay disciplined this is a very talented team that has put together some nice rounds on hard golf courses throughout the fall."
Up next: The Jaguars close out the fall portion of the schedule when they play host to the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational at the Steelwood Country Club in Loxley, Ala.
