THIS WEEKEND'S GAME
South Alabama's next win will be their 100th Sun Belt victory. Its current total of 99 is the most in league history.

Under head coach Richard Moodie, the Jaguars are 7-1-5 in overtime games, including 3-0-2 this season.

The Jags are tied for first in the Sun Belt in shutouts (8) and second in goals against average (0.65). The team has six clean sheets in its last eight outings.

Justice Stanford is second in the conference in GAA (0.67) and tied for first in shutouts (7).

USA has scored three or more goals eight times this season, fourth most in school history.

Briana Morris was named Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday after recording three goals and an assist last week. She scored twice at Coastal Carolina, including the game-winner in double overtime, and assisted the match winner at Georgia Southern.

Morris' brace at CCU was her fourth of the season. That is the third most by a Jaguar since 2009, surpassed only by Chardé Hannah and Rio Hardy, who had five in 2014 and 2017, respectively.

Morris leads the Sun Belt in goals (12) and points (26).

Gracie Wilson had a goal and an assist — her third and seventh of the season, respectively — at Coastal Carolina. The seven assists are second in the Sun Belt.

Little Rock is led by former South Alabama assistant Mark Foster. He was with the Jaguar soccer program in 2017, helping the team to a conference title and an NCAA Tournament appearance.

Little Rock is unbeaten in its last six outings. The Trojans drew four straight times, including three 0-0 ties, before winning 4-0 vs. ULM and 2-1 vs. Appalachian State.

MOODIE'S QUOTES ON THIS WEEKEND'S GAME
On the upcoming weekend: "This is our only game this week, so it'll be a good opportunity for us to rest and recover. We're excited to be back home to finish up the last two games of the season. It'll be a good, tough game, but we'll have plenty of time to prepare."

On getting close to clinching the title: "I haven't talked with them about it yet; there's just so much other stuff going on. For us it's been about focusing on performance, but on Sunday it hit home because we were in the midst of an average performance in terms of what we've done this year. We talk about the process, but at that point, it's about the result. If you want to win something, you're going to have to find a way within a nitty-gritty game, and they looked like champions in the end. They found a way to play average and win a really tight game. We're not going to talk about it this week – maybe next week – but I think for them it's about getting back to playing with confidence. The Georgia Southern and Coastal Carolina games are two totally different South Alabama teams. One is full of confidence and one that is maybe a little tired and unsure."

On Little Rock: "They scored six goals this past week, so they've become a bit more offensive. Those were two games they maybe had to win, knowing what they had left, but they're a great team and he's a great coach. They're going to be well-organized and disciplined, and I'm not going to take anything away from them. They've struggled to win games, but they've not struggled to defend. They'll be a tough team to break down. We just have to be ready to adapt to the circumstances."
