NEW ORLEANS – The University of South Alabama football team's annual Homecoming game will be broadcast nationally on ESPNU it was announced by the Sun Belt Conference office on Monday.
The Jaguars will take on No. 24 Appalachian State on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, with kickoff set for 11 a.m. (CDT) due to the telecast.
It marks the second time this fall South will face a nationally-ranked opponent — Nebraska was No. 24 entering the season opener on Aug. 31 — and the first home game against a top-25 program since the Jags played host to No. 10 Oklahoma State on Sept. 8, 2017.
All three USA contests in October will now air on ESPN's networks, while it will be the sixth national television appearance by the Jaguars in 2019.
