THEY SAID IT
Head coach Terry Fowler
On forcing turnovers and the story of the game: "Yeah, and I think the other thing if I'm looking at it. I thought we did a decent job of rebounding on the defensive side of the floor. The numbers are even, but they didn't get many second-chance opportunities, and we were able to get out there and run a little bit. We made some adjustments at halftime against their double teams in the post and we were able to get some easy baskets. Once they stopped doubling the post, Antoinette had a great day.
On getting two wins on the road this trip: "It was huge. In this league you talk about winning at home, and splitting on the road. Last week, we lost two at home and we need to get those back somewhere."
On Louisiana: " We just have to get back at it and recover. Kids don't have school on Monday, so they get to sleep in a little before practice. We just have to be ready to go, it starts with recovery, eating right, rest and cold tubs. All the things that require us to be at our best, and we have to be ready for Louisiana on Thursday."
