QUOTES
Head Coach Mark Calvi
- On the loss:
"We had some chances. We left 12 men on base and we had some chances to push and get a big two-out hit. Coastal Carolina's guys made some good pitches, and we missed some pitches. We just didn't pitch well enough or score enough runs. The game got away from us there at the end, but our guys fought until the end; I can't say anything about our effort. It just wasn't our night tonight."
- On the message to the team after the game:
"It's a double-elimination tournament and that's not changing. This only counts as one loss, so if we want to stick around here longer then we need to take care of business tomorrow and have some fun."
