KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Yannick Schütz, a sophomore with the University of South Alabama men's golf program, earned an individual berth to the NCAA Kissimmee Regional, where he will report from Kissimmee, Fla., on the experience all week for usajaguars.com. Schütz checked in after the second of three rounds at the event on Tuesday.

I definitely hit the ball a little better today, especially on the front nine.  I played 2 under on the front nine, which was deserved, I hit a lot of good shots — I didn't hit it great, but certainly good enough — and took advantage of the chances I had.  It was pretty stress-free golf.

On the back nine that double bogey on No. 10 really, really hurt, it took the momentum out of the round.  I couldn't really get anything going from there, especially on the last five holes.  I got extremely tired because yesterday was a grind with the rain and it got really hot today, but that shouldn't be happening and I hope it's going to be different tomorrow.

I'm still looking forward to tomorrow because I'm hitting the ball better and I feel like I can be more aggressive.  I believe there is a low round out there for me, especially after that really good start today.  There is nothing to lose, I want to show up one more time and end on a good note here.
