QUOTES
Head Coach Mark Calvi
- On the win:
"It was a great way to send off our seniors – a great group of guys we have had who have invested so much and meant so much to this program. I couldn't be happier for them and the contributions that they've made not only to this team, but to the program and this University. I'm very proud of them, and it was good to send them off with a win at home."
- On Patrick McBride:
"He was awesome today. His pitch count was low, he threw strikes and had good angle. I can't say enough good things about him; he was outstanding today. We really needed that too, he was really good."
- On the pitching this series:
"We've had some ups and downs, and for them to perform the way they did this weekend against a formidable offense in UT Arlington – I was really pleased to see that. We have a stiff test on Tuesday (at Southeastern Louisiana) and obviously next weekend – Troy is a very good club. It's good for some guys to get some confidence, pitch well and put it all together."
