THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
On the loss to Miami: "It was a very competitive match. We played very hard and all matches were played at a high level. We could have won, but we let a few things slip out of our fingers. We were in position to win the doubles point being up a break in the deciding match. Our number one played phenomenal and upset Miami's ranked team. The other difference in the match was losing first set tiebreakers on courts one, five and six. If we had won those first sets, the match would have been completely different and probably in our favor."
Â
On looking forward: "Miami played hard, but we fell just a few points short of upsetting them. There is still a lot of positives from today. The boys are playing at a high level and we need to carry that momentum to our last match at home and all the way to the conference tournament." Â
