THEY SAID IT
Head coach Becky Clark

- On Kamdyn Kvistad's performance at the plate in both games: "Kam is a competitor and competitors compete, and that's what I thought she did today.  She wasn't over-thinking things.  She just went out there and played ball and competed."
- On the offensive production up and down the lineup in game two: "I thought the one thing we did after the first game was respond.  We haven't been great at that this season, but I was glad to see us respond.  We showed some guts in game two."
- On Alexis Reid in the circle in game two: "I thought Lex had a great game.  I was very proud of her on how she responded after allowing the three runs in the first.  I thought she competed the entire game."
- On tomorrow's mentality: "Tomorrow, we need to keep the same intensity and mentality that we had in game two.  I want us to continue to keep our foot on the gas and compete."

Kamdyn Kvistad
- On her performance today: "I was just feeling really good [at the plate] today.  I had felt good in the batting cages before the game and just felt comfortable in the [batter's] box and thought I was seeing the ball well.  I was just looking for a good pitch to drive and had the same mind set every at-bat.  I didn't want to do too much and just wanted to help my team out anyway I could."
- On bouncing back and getting game two to even the series: "That was real important for us. We are going to need to come out here tomorrow and play like we did in the second game.  We did a great job in game two of coming out and swinging the bats.  Our pitching was really good today as well, so hopefully we can take this momentum and confidence into tomorrow's game to close out the series."
