MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama men's tennis team (10-5) defeated DePaul, 5-2, Friday at home to extend its win streak to three.
 
DOUBLES
- Loic Cloes and Clement Marzol kicked off the match with a 6-2 victory over DePaul's Alex Galoustian and Boris Spanjaard on court 1.
- Santiago di Loreto and Max Lapraille sealed the doubles point on court 3 over Christopher Casati and Fran Tonejc, 7-6 (7-5).
- Sacha Modica and Olivier Gingras trailed 4-5 to Tripp Tuff and Conor O'Meara as the match went unfinished.

SINGLES
- Cloes started singles with a 6-1, 6-3, triumph on court 1 over Galoustian
- Lapraille took his match on court 6 6-2, 6-4, over Tonejc.
- Gingras fell to Spanjaard 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) on court 3.
- Modica clinched the match for the Jags on court 2 defeating Tamas Zador 7-5, 7-6 (7-5).
- di Loreto was defeated by Tuff 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 on court 5.
- Gonzalez closed out the match with a 6-2, 6-4, victory on court 4 over Casati.
 
THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
On the match: "Today was a good win. We didn't play our best tennis and it wasn't pretty, but a win is a win. Some guys had bad day, but were able to dig the "W" out. I like to see that. We showed good character and that's we need for the rest of the season."
 
On Loic Cloes' performance today: "Loic showed great leadership at number one today and put us on the board early."
 
On doubles: "Doubles were great today. We had good energy and solid play. We have another big match tomorrow against MTSU. We are looking forward to playing our old conference rival."
