QUOTES
Head Coach Amy Hendrichovsky
- On the crowd:
"South Alabama and Troy is a big rivalry, and I was proud of the amount of people we got here tonight. I was very appreciative of our band choosing to come tonight; they did an awesome job, and we always enjoy when they come to our matches. I want to thank them a lot."
- On the win:
"It wasn't our prettiest match, but I knew after Wednesday night Troy would come at us and be more aggressive. I thought they did a good job executing that, but I was proud of our team for maintaining its composure with their (Troy) fight and aggression toward us. I thought we had a very good response to it after the first set."
- On the final week of the regular season:
"This week we had a focus and theme, and I think it really helped us and was something we didn't have when we were in the Carolinas. We'll set together a theme for this week. I know we didn't give our best showing last weekend, so we have something to prove. I know they'll come in here and play well and with a lot of confidence, and I just want our girls to play their best as well."
