QUOTES
Head Coach Amy Hendrichovsky
- On the defense:
"I thought overall it was a good defensive match. Both teams gave really good effort defensively. We allowed them (Coastal Carolina) to hit a pretty high efficiency in the first set. I asked our defenders to be more aggressive, give better effort and have more intensity in the defensive game, and we held them (CCU) in the second and third sets to a percentage where we can win. They had a good game plan offensively, and we couldn't get our offense in a groove tonight."
- On Sunday's match with Appalachian State:
"App State is a very different team from Coastal Carolina. We have to prepare for a different matchup; they have different strengths and a different style to their game. We'll go in and prepare for them tomorrow. Our girls usually do a good job rebounding, and I expect them to learn from tonight and we'll move on to Sunday."
