THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Richard Moodie
Overall thoughts: "I'm really excited about what I saw today. I think we played some great soccer. I was excited about the fact that we were able to get lots of bodies on the field to rest a little bit for Appalachian State. Our level never dropped today. I feel for Keyton at ULM; the girls there are working hard. You can tell it's a tough season and it's not easy, but they've been doing great the last few games. They held Coastal Carolina and Little Rock to one-goal deficits. They're not a bad team and our girls moved the ball well. We deserved to win but I think that we played in such a way to deserve the win."
On getting four different goalscorers: "Our conversion rate was excellent. We got one goal for every 10 shots and that's a lot better than the last few games. We created a lot of great chances and arguably the best chance we created ended in the penalty kick. The movement was great. It's a bit unfortunate that the game wasn't streamed because people would have enjoyed watching what we did today with the ball."
On McPartlan and Godfrey scoring goals: "The goal Brenna scored was unbelievable. We worked the ball well and got it wide. She played for the second ball and had a good finish. Hannah Godfrey is a force to reckon with; she can do it all. They are two very important players on our team. Both of their goals, even though they came from distance, we worked the ball well collectively as a team to get those chances. They took them well and I'm happy for them. The way we played as a team today was out of this world."
