MOBILE, Ala. – "Inside JagNation" is a weekly in-depth podcast of the University of South Alabama Athletics that was developed in conjunction with the redesign of department's official web site www.USAJaguars.com.

The purpose of the podcast is to provide in-depth interviews with Jaguar administrators, coaches and student-athletes to get to know better the many people who play a key role in South's day-to-day activities and recent success.

"Inside JagNation" will not only be uploaded and available at www.USAJaguars.com, but individuals can subscribe to the free podcast on iTunes — using a search for "South Alabama Jaguars" — in order to download to their mobile device.

In this week's first-ever edition of "Inside JagNation", Associate Athletic Director for Media Relations Brian Fremund sits down with South Alabama Director of Athletics, Dr. Joel Erdmann.  Topics of the discussion include Erdmann's early days in athletics, moving from coaching to an administrative role, a description of a typical day on his schedule and an explanation of the school's football feasibility study.
