INFORMATION ANNOUNCED FOR JAGUAR FOOTBALL SPRING GAME

MOBILE, Ala. – Stadium information including an event run in conjunction with the University of South Alabama football program's annual iHeartRadio Red-Blue Spring Game were released on Monday.

The contest is set for a noon (CDT) start at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.  There is no charge for admission while parking is free until kickoff — the lot will be available, with entry to the west side of the facility via Virginia Street, beginning at 8 a.m. — with fans able to access the West stands at 11 a.m.

The game can be heard live on 99.5 The Jag and will be available worldwide via the iHeartRadio platform.

Prior to kickoff, the USA College of Medicine's Gumbo/Chili Showdown sponsored by the USA Medical Alumni Association will start at 10:30 a.m. and run through the start of the game.  Tickets for the event — which benefits the Regan Robinson Young Scholarship Fund — are $8 in advance and $10 on game day, with all children under 10 admitted for free.  Information including the ability to order tickets can be found at www.gumbochili.com.

Rosters for the two teams will be chosen and announced later in the week.  The Jaguars are set to practice in full pads Wednesday morning in advance of the Red-Blue Game.

The Jag softball team, which has won eight in a row including six straight in Sun Belt Conference play, will play host to Georgia State in a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Jaguar Field on Saturday, with USA's baseball team — now 9-0 in the league following a road sweep of Texas State — facing Louisiana-Monroe at Stanky Field at 6:30 p.m.  All in attendance at the Red-Blue Spring Game will receive a voucher good for admission into Saturday night's baseball contest vs. ULM, or either softball or baseball's home contest on Sunday; the former will start at noon, the latter at 1 p.m.
