USA'S BRIDGE, SAXTON NAMED TO SENIOR BOWL WATCH LIST

MOBILE, Ala. – A pair of University of South Alabama football players were named to the Reese's Senior Bowl 2015 Watch List by the organization on Wednesday.

Jaguar quarterback Brandon Bridge and tight end Wes Saxton are among the more than 350 student-athletes from across the nation who are considered prospects to compete in the game, which will be played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium — USA's home facility during the season — on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 3 p.m.  Once again, the contest will be televised nationally on the NFL Network.

The final rosters will include a total of 110 individuals.

Three former Jags have been invited to participate in the all-star game since the program's inception in 2009, with wide receiver Courtney Smith first representing the Jags in the 2011 game.  Both linebacker Jake Johnson and safety B.J. Scott were selected to play in the 2013 edition of the contest, though the former was injured during his first practice for the game and unable to compete.
