MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama Athletic Ticket Office announced Wednesday that tickets for three of the Jaguars’ four road games this fall will go on sale on Wednesday, July 6.
Tickets for contests at North Carolina State, Kent State and Texas-San Antonio will be available for purchase that morning. They will be sold based on priority points, with all donors to the Jaguar Athletic Fund having the exclusive opportunity to reserve away game tickets through Friday, July 15. Starting Monday, July 18, all non-donor season ticket holders and the general public will be eligible to purchase away game tickets.
Single-game tickets for the Oct. 22 matchup against Georgia State have not been released by the school’s Athletic Ticket Office. Individuals interested in travelling to Atlanta for that contest should check back with the USA Athletic Ticket Office for an update later in the summer.
The cost for tickets at N.C. State is $39 when the Jags face their first-ever NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (formerly NCAA I-A) opponent on Sept. 17 in Raleigh. It will also be USA’s first road game of the season.
Single-game tickets the following week when the Jaguars visit Kent State cost $10, while the price for tickets on Oct. 8 at UTSA is $17.
Season tickets for the Jags’ six-game home slate — which begins on Thursday, Sept. 1 against West Alabama — are still on sale, with the cost $85 for sideline seats and $40 for end zone seats. NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (formerly NCAA I-AA) opponents set to visit Mobile in 2011 include Lamar (Sept. 10), Tennessee-Martin (Oct. 15), Mississippi Valley State (Thursday, Nov. 3) and Cal Poly (Nov. 19) in the season finale.
The 2011 campaign will mark the first in a two-year transition for the school to the NCAA FBS level, with the Jaguars eligible to compete for the Sun Belt Conference championship and earn a berth in a bowl game for the first time in 2013.
