MOBILE, Ala. – The Joey Jones Radio Show, a weekly broadcast featuring the University of South Alabama’s head football coach, will begin Tuesday at Baumhower’s Wings Restaurant in Mobile on Airport Boulevard.
The third season of the hour-long program will be hosted by the “Voice of the Jaguars” Lee Shirvanian and take place beginning at noon every week throughout the campaign. It will air on WNSP 105.5 FM, with the final show slated to take place on Nov. 16 following the Jags’ season finale against Arkansas-Monticello.
In addition to Jones, the show will feature interviews with USA assistant coaches and various athletic department personnel.

USA will open its second season on the field with a 4 p.m. contest on Saturday, Sept. 4 against Pikeville (Ky.). The Jaguars will take on 10 four-year schools this fall prior to beginning a two-year transition to the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (formerly NCAA I-A) level.
