MOBILE, Ala. ? South Alabama closed out its regular season schedule with a scoreless tie in double overtime against Troy Friday at “The Cage.”

The Jags out-shot the Trojans 11-7 in the contest. Troy (8-9-3, 3-7-1) attempted four shots on goal, while USA attempted three.

South Alabama (6-10-3, 4-4-3) will now begin its preparation for the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, which begins Wed., Nov. 5, in Denton, Texas.

The Jags’ first-round match will be available via web cast at www.sunbeltsports.org. Fans can access the web cast for the entire tournament for $9.95.
