Sports Medicine

Sports Medicine has facilities in six facilities, supporting all 17 programs at South Alabama. The largest being in the Football Fieldhouse. The 3,800 square-foot facility 12 treatment tables, 4 taping tables, 2 HydroWorx Plunge pools, among other items needed for recovery and treatment modality. While primarily servicing football, this space also see student-athetes from all programs.

In the Health, Kinesiology, and Sport building (nearest Jag Gym), that Sports Medicine space 2,400 square-feet primarily services the tennis, volleyball, golf, and basketball programs. Some of the recovery and treatment modality items in this space include 6 treatment tables, taping tables, Cryotherapy Tank, and a Physiomed Hivamat Oscillation Unit

The newest space is at Stanky Field inside the Jon Lieber Clubhouse. Opening in 2021, this space services as the primary home of baseball. Softball and Soccer have a combined space inside the Softball/Soccer Clubhouse. At the Athletic Annex, where Track & Field and Cross Country call home, has a Sports Medicine space just beside Jaguar Track. When not in the HKS Building, the basketball programs are serviced from a secondary location in their competition venue, the Mitchell Center.
