Stanky Field
Stanky Field, named after former coach Eddie Stanky, was built in 1980 and is home of the South Alabama baseball program. In the summer of 2004, the University of South Alabama underwent a renovation campaign to make Stanky Field one of the most impressive facilities in the nation. The multi-million dollar transformation has put South Alabama baseball among the top facilities in the nation. Stanky Field has a capacity of 3,775. The dimensions are 330 to left field and right field, 375 to left-center and right-center and 400 to center field. The playing surface consists of Tifton grass and a clay infield.
Down the left field line is the Jaguar Baseball Ring of Honor, Jon Lieber Clubhouse, David Freese Weight Room, and Luis Gonzalez Hitting Facility. Â

• Opened Stanky Field on March 9, 1980, with a doubleheader sweep of Alabama
• Hosted the Sun Belt Tournament 11 times

Directions:
Stanky Field is located at 6094 Old Shell Road. From I-65, take exit 5A and go left on Spring Hill Avenue. Spring Hill Avenue changes to Zeigler Blvd. At University Blvd, turn left. Once you reach Old Shell Road, turn right. You will see Stanky Field on the right just after you pass the Mitchell Center and Jaguar Field (Softball).
