Fowler paced the Jags at the plate with a . 400 average. over the weekend against Sun Belt Conference opponent Troy, going 2-for-5 at the plate while scoring one and driving in two. In game one against the Trojans, Fowler went 2-for-3, including hitting her eighth home run of the season. Her two hits were the only hits recorded by South Alabama in the contest.  The the second game of the doubleheader, Fowler reached base on a walk and drove in a run as the Jaguars picked up a 4-3 victory to clinch the third seed at this week's Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
