Ellis shot 15-of-25 from the field over the weekend against North Carolina State and North Carolina for 36 points, including 9-of-14 from the field, 2-of-3 from the three-point range and 2-of-2 from the charity stripe for a career-high 23 points in a win over North Carolina on Sunday. The senior center also had 15 rebounds, five blocks, two assists and two steals over the weekend in the two games, helping the Jaguars to first victory over an ACC opponent since 1987 when they defeated Clemson in Mobile.
