Behind the play of Mohler, South Alabama opened up the Sun Belt Conference schedule this past weekend with a pair of 3-1 wins over ULL and ULM. The 2-0 start for the Jags is the first since 2001 and just the second in program history. For the weekend, Mohler averaged 3.25 kills per set and recorded a .500 attack percentage, with 26 kills and just three errors in 46 attempts. Mohler also recorded one solo block and four block assists in USA’s two matches. After posting 11 kills on Friday against Louisiana-Lafayette, Mohler came up big in the Jags 3-1 victory versus Louisiana-Monroe, leading the way with 15 kills. With USA trailing 1-0 in the match against the Warhawks, Mohler did her best work, posting six kills on nine attacks, helping the Jags rally and pick up a 26-24 victory.
