Scott set a school record in the 60-meter dash in the Jaguars’ opening meet of the season at the Commodore Invitational, posting a time of 6.72 seconds to finish third in the finals, also coming in seventh in the 200 meters with a time of 21.91 seconds. His 60-meter mark is among the top 25 times in the nation — and is tied for the fastest mark in the Sun Belt Conference — to date this year, while the sophomore moved into fourth place on USA’s all-time performance list with his performance in the 200-meter dash as well.
