Rubit recorded a pair of double-doubles in his final two games as a Jaguar -- the 53rd and 54th double-doubles of his career, best in school history and most by any active player in Division I -- and averaged 16.0 points and 12.5 rebounds in leading South Alabama to a 2-0 week. He also blocked five shots and had five steals and five assists on the week while shooting 46.2 percent from the floor and 88.9 percent from the free throw line. Against Texas State, he tallied team-high totals of 14 points, 11 rebounds, a career-high four steals, and two assists and blocks apiece. In the season finale vs. Texas-Arlington Rubit poured in 18 points with 14 rebounds on 7-of-13 shooting from the floor; he had 14 points and 10 boards in the second half alone. The senior rejected three shots to finish his career in the Sun Belt’s top 25 (139); Rubit had multiple blocks in his seven games, equaling the longest stretch at USA in 20 years.
