Jacobs went undefeated at the Samford Invitational, posting a 3-0 record at No. 1 singles. Two of the wins -- 6-0, 6-4 over Pedro Wagner of Jacksonville State, and 6-3, 7-6 (12-10) over Fares Kilani of Samford -- came in straight sets, and Jacobs outlasted UAB's Christian Coetzee in three sets, 7-6, 1-6, 7-5. He leads the team with a 5-1 record this spring.
